Hmmmmmm......2009 has come and its almost gone, but I cannot but be greatful for all. I look at the hapnings of this year and many that will unfold as the year goes to and end. All that there is, is less than 15hrs to the end of 2009....I am thinking the best in 2009 is yet to unfold..and I mean it.
I have done so many in this year, some most I am happy about, some I feel a little doubtful, but most of all I am greatful to God for seeing me to this point. so If you have had anything to do wtith this year, I want you to say thank you God, for your mercies...I love you with my whole.
I must also thank you specially for the gift of the year. 2009 got better at about 10 or less from 2010. Who else could have done this, if not YOU, so I
say...>THANKS!

Dear Friend!

Dear Friend,

Looking at the mirror, who do I see looking back?
Is it the person I want be or is there someone else I am meant to be, the person I should have been, but fell short of!
I know a little about falling short of expectations, I have had my fair share of shortcomings, I look back now and I tell myself “oh boy...you don tried, you know"
I have made decisions and at times, I wonder if I could have done, better...at this minute I still a do not an answer. I guess I never will.
Therefore, just in case there is someone telling you, you cannot or you will not because of such decisions, well I told people like that, I CAN and you should tell whoever that fellow is I CAN...
Because I believe, I can.
I also believe that love is out there... but do not settle for less...don’t accept just being loved, make sure your loving showing love also.
Believe that dreams come through every day because they do.
Sometimes happiness does not come from money, fame, or power, sometimes it comes from good friends and family and from the quiet nobility of leading a good life...there is nothing more important than this...this is how God will want us to live our lives.
U see... I believe that dreams come thru every day because they do.
So look in that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be. Believe that.
Every day I look into that mirror...I only see the man I have become... The man I am...the man I will be... as this is the most important thing in life, and make sure you are happy. Ok!? Because I am. I got good friends, a caring and wonderful family. In addition, just in case somewhere along the line I hurt you and you... I am sorry, so so sorry for being a jackass...please I beg you forgive me. I am not a perfect man. To those who hurt me I forgive, just because I need others I hurt to forgive me... (Smiles)

I am moving on, everyday is a new start. "I learn from my yesterday and I use my today to plan for my tomorrow". I think it is time you moved on too, move on and leave the past behind. I am going to utilize my second chance...u better do the same when you get yours and if you do not get one, create one for yourself.
I believe that for some people it is all about romance, destiny, and fate...for some it is all about writing their own story, they choose their own path. However, no matter how, you cannot choose who you love... you can only choose whether to open your heart to love. So make that best of choices and if in the end the choices do not work out as you hoped...then you have to make it out...Just as I am doing now.
I would like of every one that every new me to delete whatever negative thought you had formed out of my acts in the past. Never address, judge me by those my again. I only did what I thought was right at that time!

My famous friend said "If at first you don’t succeed, get and dust yourself up, kick yourself in the arse, drink a lil' or smoke a lot(whatever your fancy is)and tell life to take its problems and shove it! THEN, relax and go at it again...NOW that is how you handle good 'ol rejection! “ I will say "Every time you try and don’t succeed...just means you dint try well, Go back at it knowing how not to do it"
I believe I can, I know I can. How about you?

I believe in romance, destiny, and fate, I believe in creating my own path.
Nevertheless, no matter what I believe in, my core values or my destiny or path...One thing will remain I am I...............FRANCIS OLUWASEUN AYODEJI IGE
I Love me....I love acting out me, maybe someday I’ll write a book about me or even make a movie based on the story of my life.

My Life!

Today I publicly declare that I could not have gotten this far all alone...when I say far...I mean, twenty-four years of my existence on planet earth. I got through all the pains and gains...All the happy days and sad times...all these I got through because I am loved...I got through all these years because the kings of kings and his Son love me. God loves me.

Do the right things every time you can...And do not for get to tell someone you love him or she, I already did that.
I love you too...

'Seun IGE
P.S
You better #lightupnigeria...cos it another right thing to do.
God Bless Me, God Bless You And God Bless Nigeria!

HOLD UNTO YOUR DREAMS

Keep all your dreams so close to your heart,
and never give up, when your life's falling apart.
Let your dreams give you strength to carry on,
and help you find the future, you feel has gone.

Build on those dreams that you hold so dearly,
and you'll be able to see your life more clearly.
These are your tomorrows you can make today,
and through the darkness, you'll find your way.

Nothing is impossible,as long as you believe;
those felt unreachable are possible to achieve.
Have faith in yourself and trust in God's love;
reach for the stars blessed by Heaven above.

GOOD PEOPLE….GREAT NATION!

Nigeria is not a word, D character of a person, a way of doing things and undoing them. Nigeria is not a place that harbors criminals and militants, corrupts leaders and dirty followers. Nigeria, a country, vast territory, many resources, and a country blessed with good people, a very good people. Nigeria is my home, my only home it will ever be. I love Nigerians. God bless Nigeria.

When HEART BREAK Becomes A LEARNING TOOL!

Albert Camus said and I qoute:
"Blessed are the hearts that can bend, they shall never be broken, but i wonder if there's no breaking, then there is no healing and if there is no healing then there is no learning and if there is no learning, there is no struggle, but d struggle is a part of life, so must all hearts be broken."

while going through my jotter I came across this quote, after reading over and over, The thought of a blogger(sugabelly) that had wrote about her heart break came to mind. I hope she learnt all that will be needed in her next move.

As I took in the words over and over again, I tried to put toghether where I had come across the quote....ha I remember "ONE TREE HILL", all the lessons and messages I got from watching these serial, I got off the serial somewhere around the fourth season..but I hold onto memories of watching ONE TREE HILL.
Sadly, I can not place, how many TV s
Shows, Serials,Movies, all from NOLLYWOOD. that gets me thinking about the mystery of LOVE, LIFE and many more, Something to ponder over for a long time, something to write down, meditate over it and share with you my fellow bloggers.

At the rate we chunk out movies and all sorts of messages on our TV, I wonder what would be broadcasted some years from now, thank God NBC is doing the best it can......I hope to contribute my own quota to the industry sometime soon.
As I write these, I am listening to Aaron Neville's- "Even If My Heart Would Break" and I ask that God gives every heart broken person the courage to move on.......Its just a part of learning...hm
I gats to go....have to design a LOGO for a new Clothing Company. CIAO

What are you offering?

It bites me to hear people say Nigeria has nothing to offer them, they go on about how bad things are now, compared to when they were younger. They say things have changed drastically.

Well, must I remind them that the only constant change is change itself! Which now brings me to my question: what are you offering?

Back then, people gave their own share to the development of the nation. I will say Nigeria is like this, because lesser people have offered to help in comparison to what it used to be like in the past. We must also note that there is always the good side to the story.

The growth of Nigeria rests on our response to her. It is time to realize that the government can solve our problem; in fact, the government are our problems.

Help, not necessarily has to be to the nation, if you are not capable now. We all have friends, family and foes. We can help from their by showing love, encouraging and appreciating these people. This develops the individual as well as the immediate environment. Our help to other nations cripple our help to the nation, No doubt, this is a good gesture, but how well is it helping us as whole or as an individual? We need to improve on ourselves as a person. Individual growth could be, spiritually, emotionally and psychologically or philosophically and more.

Like a mustard seed, which man took and sowed in his field “Which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches”. How little our effects might seem they matter the most. We need to start offering something to our nation, our friends, family, foes and self.

A better Nigeria: It begins with YOU.

HIV PREVENTION: WHAT REALLY WORKS

AIDS has come to stay and we all know that. It is not hard to see that we have not all accepted the scary fact. The best of it all is that people just seem to see it as another advert in the media, another president not doing the job right or a kid crying for ice cream and we just do general talk.
The good thing about this virus is that, it is generating a lot of money for the media. Many organisations are coming together to fight the epidemic. Money spent is on ways thought to be the way out. Which brings me to the question HIV PREVENTION: WHAT REALLY WORKS? Looking back at a couple of advertorials, UNICEF started out with, the word “ABSTANANCE” it was on for long, they switch focus to “FAITHFULNESS” then to the most accepted of them all “USE A CONDOM”.
To these points, the way forward is farfetched. The only good that will be is the medical cure and an anti-immune drug.
Talking about the options that have been giving to the people, ABSTAINANCE is not working, maybe for the believers; you and I know the percentage of population they carry in Nigeria, Africa. FAITHFULNESS seems to be finding its way into the homes, the streets have accepted to CONDOMIZE. Condom on its own is not reliable, its one doing the work of two, Safe sex and birth control. That is why it has stood the test of time.
How many people use condoms? People believe condom makes sex boring...how possible is that when you are fighting AIDS and controlling birth? I like the idea of staying faithful. The only thing is after a while the condom stays away and a new birth control method finds way.
It is hard to fight the virus if we are not tackling all other vices that come handy to the transmission process.

Vices like our environment, sex education and the methods of preventing the virus as well as birth control’s. I have just highlighted these as I feel they are a part of the whole talk.
Youths of today are open to all sort of societal vices that affect their judgements of situation and their acceptation of choices made. It is time we really make up our mind and stay out of trouble. What really takes up mind space is all this true talk real, but then I just said true. Condoms have 98% reliability, how about faithfulness; less we forget that a partner is involved. I am worried at the spread, much worried by the status issue. Knowing your status is been made to look so un-cool, there needs to be something cool about going to know your status.
At these point the best done about AIDS is to scare people.
This virus has come a long way; it has built a strong network that needs serious work to break into, not to talk of controlling it.
The dedication and efforts of the change agents who are closest to its level of impact is sort after. They however, need to be checked, motivated and supported. There should be less talk and more of an aggressive attacking style.
An advertorial preaches about the imagination of an HIV free generation, well how possible it is I do not know. I know we can achieve an HIV informed and controlled generation.

The fight for an HIV controlled generation: It begins with YOU.
